ETEC is the pioneer in electric excavators and sustainable energy solutions for the construction and industrial sectors. Our name carries nearly a century of experience, innovation, and reliability. What began in the late 1920's as a supplier of machines for industry, municipalities, and agriculture has grown into a leading brand driving the energy transition in construction.
From Excavators to Green Technology
After 25 years as an excavator dealership, ELM Group became responsible for the sales and service of the global brand DEVELON in the southwest of the Netherlands in 2012. Building on that strong foundation, ELM Bouwmachines B.V. was established in 2017. In 2018, the company moved into the former ETEC facility at Transportweg 10 in Waddinxveen, a location designed for growth, innovation, and production, forming the foundation of the ETEC we know today.
A Powerful Production Facility
Our 10,000 m² site includes a modern 3,000 m² workshop, a professional paint facility with two spacious spray booths, and an in-house fabrication department. These facilities enable us to develop, build, and customize our machines entirely in-house. With a dedicated team of over 50 professionals, we ensure quality, customization, and dependable service, from sales and rentals to maintenance and full overhauls.

Thanks to its robust design, easy mobility, and availability in various capacities, the Powerbox is highly versatile. The plug & play setup makes it easy to operate, while smart energy management ensures efficient usage. Optionally, the Powerbox can be equipped with a 200 kW DC fast charger, enabling ultra-fast charging of electric vehicles.
